Senza peli sulla lingua – Without hairs on the tongue

It’s been a while that I have this in mind.  “Senza Peli sulla lingua”  is an Italian idiom we use when we ask someone to speak his mind and to be brutally honest with us, even if we’re not going to like his opinion. We ask him to say it “without hairs on his tongue, and sometimes to hear the mere truth is all we need.

Hand drawn illustration, ink on paper.

A kind of modern tribal mask recalling the Etruscan iconography with a glimpse of Tattoo style recalling Indian  Mudras. Made with love and truth.
