From the Singing Bird to Stefania Pochesci
I just gave my logo a freshening up. A little update mainly to the typography which I redesigned in order to have it more personal (and right). This is mostly because I’m on a new path, I decided to create my own things, my way; but to be true this is not the only reason why. My transition from the Singing bird to Stefania Pochesci (which is my real name) has another motive.
I started many years ago from a bird (you can read the story here ) and made the Singing Bird my logo. This was because I thought (and still do) that despite we are few or just one person doing what we think is the right thing, we should keep doing it even if all the others are going in another direction.
I believe in the good of small things, all those tiny things that together creates the great Ocean. To do my part while I’m on this planet is my duty, or at least is what I believe.
And I did it … and I still do despite all. I do it trying to be the change that I would like to see in the world (yes I’m quoting Gandhi), even if I’m just Stefania.
I choose Kindness and Love and Forgiveness.
I don’t believe in trains that come only once. I think that giving us and the others another chance lead us to beautiful things and unexpected gifts.
I try my best to avoid judging because I learned so far that reality has many points of view, depending on which side are you on. But I have my life values and I stick to them. Or at least I try my best to.
This is mainly because I find out that living following my heart and what I think is right, it makes me happier. Even if for one blissful moment.
I do my best to respect the Planet, because is not mine, is a cosmic gift to all the living things.
I learned to listen to the wind, to the birds and step by step I discovered that I could listen to my heart too.
Along the way, thanks to many things (good and bad) and many people, I understood that with the right attitude we can achieve anything we want. It’s only a matter of keep trying till you get it right. I learned that you never stop learning and I find it exciting.
I discovered that we can accept what is coming for us without any fear and we can face it fiercely. Even our own failure. Success is not having lots of money, success to me, is having what I need.
That’s why I changed my logo and had put my name on it. Because I’m ready to accept myself.
But the singing bird is still there on my logo and in my heart, doing his part, he only has my name on it now.
We only live once, enjoy while birds are singing, and try to be a singing bird yourself, ‘cause in difficult times if you sing you will feel (and make the world feel) a little bit better.
